Moving the blog
Over the next few weeks I'll be moving this blog over to my main website http://www.mddu.com
The reason for this decision is to keep everything that I do in the same place instead of on different hosting. I'll be moving content from this blog over to the new blog so no information will be lost.
I'm also changing my main site into a Word Press blog which will make it easier on me to do updates. As that site stands now I would need to edit quite a few pages to make updates and it's just not time conducive.
It will be a lot better with easier customizations that won't take a long time to do. I'll keep this blog here for now and will post back once the update is complete. I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

Anita Potter Images Stock Site Up and Running
I finally got around to getting to work on my stock images site found at Anita Potter Images using Word Press and the Symbiostock theme.
Symbiostock has proven to be a bit of a challenge getting everything set up but I'm learning and asking questions over at Microstock Group Symbiostock Forum and everyone has been extremely helpful.
If you're interested in selling your own stock images online through your own site, Symbiostock is the way to go.

It's been awhile
It's been awhile since I posted.
I have been killing myself to create new stock images in July since I didn't do much of anything in June and for what? They're not selling at all. All of the sites I'm on are way down from where they were this time last year. A lot of artists are working on selling their own images on their own sites to move away from the agencies. I'll be doing that as well in the next month or so. It'll give me more control over what images I want to sell as well as the ability to sell images in sets if I choose to do so. It'll take a lot of time and effort but will be worth it in the end.
Other than that not much else to tell. I need to get back to work on writing again. I need to start editing what I have so far as it reads strange.

I'm now listed on Goodreads.com and updates
Today I have received my author profile on Goodreads.com I'm working on updating my profile.
Book Updates:
The only thing I have been working on now is a book of poetry. The work as of right now is untitled but I'm sure something will jump out at me (usually in the middle of the night when I'm asleep). I'm shooting for at least 50-100 pages for the interior. The cover design will also come to me once I can figure out a name for the bookI will keep you apprised of how that's going.
I haven't done any stock work for the week and will probably get back to that next week. I need something to do while I'm inbetween books.
I will also try to post more in my blog about things I've learned going through self-publishing as well as how it's working out for me.

Books I'm working on
I thought I would share a list of the books I'm working on and where I'm at with them.
1: Currently Untitled (I have two titles I'm considering and I haven't made up my mind yet) - Starting on Chapter 7
2: The Getaway Retreat - Started on the first chapter but feel that I need to re-write it.
3: Vampire (Will be a set of three books) - I started with book 3 first before I figured that it needed to be put into more than one volume. Book 3 is still in the hand-written phase and book 1 I started on chapter 1 but just like The Getaway Retreat needs a re-write.
4: Keepers of the Flame - Started out as a screenplay I was writing but felt that it needed to be written in novel form first. I've yet to get that one started up.
I also have plans to work on another Toby the Little Green Frog childrens book in the near future. Not only will they been in paperback but I will continue to make them for Kindle devices as well.
I'm super busy with all of this and I will update what I'm working on again really soon.
